Introduction to Fair-Isle knitting in the round
In this workshop, you will be introduced to the basic skills needed for fair-isle knitting in the round, including how to knit with two colours, read colour charts and carry floats.
You will have the opportunity to try knitting some fair isle motifs using double pointed or circular needles or you may wish to purchase one of the delightful colour work scarf kits and begin knitting either the Wee Houses scarf or Highland Heathers Scarf, both of which can be bought at a discounted price on the day.
You will need a 4mm x 40cm circular needle.
- Practice yarn supplied
- 10.00am – 3.00 pm

- Requirements: One 4.00mm x 40cm Circular Needle or a set of 4mm DPN's which can be purchased on the day.
Tea/Coffee & Biscuits are provided, though you will need to bring a packed lunch.
