Flax Sweater Workshop and Knit-Along
Are you intrigued by the idea of knitting a seamless sweater in the round?
If so, this is the workshop for you. It is an ideal place to start if you haven’t had a lot of experience knitting whole garments or if knitting in the round is new to you.
Using the Flax sweater pattern from Tin Can Knits, the workshop will include:
- Learning how a top down sweater is constructed.
- Choosing the right size to knit.
- Finding out about selecting the right length of circular needles required for the different stages of your project.
- Casting on at the neck and beginning to knit the yoke for the sweater.
- Plus a 10% discount on the your yarn of your choice.
Needles will be available to purchase on the the day.
Needles required: 4mm & 5mm circular needles in 40cm & 80cm for an adult size sweater.
The Knit Along
After the workshop, we will be offering a series of optional half-day drop in sessions for
knitters who have attended the Flax Sweater Workshop.
This will be a great opportunity to share progress as you continue knitting your sweater in the round in the company of other knitters who are working on the same project.
Sue will be on hand to answer any queries.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
There will be a small charge of £5 per session.

We offer same day shipping on all orders using Royal Mail standard delivery. This costs £3.00 and can take 2/3 days Simply place your order by 4pm.
Orders are sent out Monday to Friday, and any orders received over the weekend or a public holiday will be sent out on the next working day.

Orders below £40: £3.00
Please note that postage costs are calculated after discount codes have been applied to orders.

1. Returning damaged goods
We put a lot of care into packing your orders, so they should arrive in tip-top condition. However, if they don't, don't worry. We will replace the item for you free of charge. That means you don't have to pay for the return postage costs either. Email us at info@rippingyarns.com to let us know the problem and we will send you a returns label. You may also return your item for a refund, although we cannot refund original postage costs.
2. Cancelling an order and returning unwanted items
If your order arrives and you have changed your mind you can cancel the order up to 14 days after you receive the items. The original postage cost is non-refundable and you will need to pay the return postage costs. See section 3 for how to return an order. Items must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
3. How to return your items
Please contact us via email (info@rippingyarns.com) or in writing to the address below to let us know what you are returning and why. Then pack your items up with the original delivery note stating what you are returning. Obtain and keep a proof of postage.

4. Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel an order if; a) we have insufficient stock to fulfill the order, b) we cannot deliver to your area.
5. A note about colour
We, and the suppliers we use, do our utmost to make sure the colours on the images reflect the colours of the yarn and other products. However, monitors vary, and from time to time there may be a slight variation in the colours shown.
